Absolutely delicious food! Lunch buffet is also fantastic, butter chicken was my favourite.

We were searching for a place to eat in the afternoon, but most restaurants were closed. Luckily, we stumbled upon bajwa palace, which was set to open around 5:30 PM. Arriving a bit early, we inquired about seating and were warmly welcomed inside, where we were treated to snacks and coffee. The owners, a lovely couple, have created a charming ambiance with tasteful decorations.

Good service, quiet and chill atmosphere and awesome food! Can only recommend the butter chicken and mango lassi!! Server is really nice comfortable to talk to.

Bajwa Palace surprised me as I already had lost my faith in have good Indian food in Basel. It will not be at the same level as other countries like UK, but opposed to all Indian restaurants in Basel in Bajwa food actually had flavour. My friend and I had some classics like Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma and both were creamy, spicy and flavoured. But my best experience was with the soft and tasty Paneer Naan, totally recommend as a starter.
The service was very nice, friendly and fast. And a very enjoyable conversation with one of the managers.
It's not perfect, but it's GOOD and a solid option to anyone looking to fulfil a craving of Indian food.

Fantastic food, never had a bad meal here, they have a simple relaxed atmosphere, yeah the decor feels like you’ve been transported back to the 1970’s but that’s half of the charm of the place! Of all the Indian restaurants in the area, nine times out of ten I will choose to go to this one first… I prefer good tasting food with good serving sizes over the bling bling that other places offer.
